The question is, how do you convey the utility of social networks to &quot;old school&quot; management who see them as nothing more but productivity drains for their twenty-something newhires?  I suspect that point of view will change over time; I just know too many folks for whom it&#039;s a reality. What&#039;s to do?</description>

		<description>Currently, my company does not and if they do ban them I&#039;ll be the first to start shouting.  Why?  Two quick thoughts:

1. Social Networks are a great way to keep up with what your customers are talking about - and it might be you.
2. Companies need to engage in the conversation and social networks are a driving factor.
