Every 6 months or so, I like to look through what’s working—and what isn’t—here on the site. So far, these are the most popular posts written in 2011. I’ll follow up later with the most viewed posts. For now, enjoy!

We’re all looking for better, faster, cheaper ways to run our online presence these days. So it’s no surprise that our review of Squarespace was very popular.
Once you have a site, of course, you’ve got to keep the content fresh. So my look at 7 essential iPad blogging apps seems to have been a winner.
Of course, having a site and an active blog is great. What’s better is getting people to buy once they arrive. Late in May, I covered what an “industry average” conversion rate and it was a big hit.
Another common feature on Tim Peter Thinks are our semi-regular book reviews. My review of Howard Schulz’s “Onward: How Starbucks Fought For Its Life Without Losing Its Soul” was the most popular one this year.
I could never keep Tim Peter Thinks running without the help of some extraordinary guest posters. And the popularity of Jackie Codair’s “Why Every SMB Should Have Online Video in 2011″ shows how valuable those guest posters are to you, too.
Another regular feature here on the blog is the weekly “Small Business E-commerce Link Digest” where I go looking for the best the web has to offer. My roundup of “6 Solutions for Social Commerce Success” was the most popular one so far this year.
And, finally, though this was a new piece, SEO advice always does well Which explains how quickly “Will Google+ Kill SEO” made this list.
