Biography

Tim Peter is an e-commerce and marketing executive with 18 years experience in the financial services, retail, hospitality, and music industries. Tim’s writing focuses on e-commerce, web marketing, and business strategy with particular emphasis on how to make use of the web to enhance brand building, customer experience, and persuasive usability.

Tim now runs e-commerce for a major luxury travel company. Previously, he led e-commerce marketing and development for a Fortune 100 company, increasing its online revenues above industry average each year. He started his career back in the early ’90’s in the music industry and enjoyed the boom years with Charles Schwab. He has spoken at many conferences including the HSMAI Travel Internet Marketing Strategy conference, TravelCom Res-Expo, HITEC and the Lodging Hospitality HOT Conference. Tim lives in New Jersey with his wife, daughters, and a handful of guitars.
