Just a heads-up that I’m taking a long weekend this weekend to rest and recuperate. Here are a couple of fun things to read for a change if you find yourselves indoors at any point:

• XKCD – Hardcore geek humor.
• WFMU – The best radio station in the US.
• CNN/SI – Sports Illustrated’s site. Great for real-time baseball and World Cup scores this weekend.
• Andrew Sullivan’s The Daily Dish – Politics, news, and analysis (but, try to avoid that this weekend, ’cause, seriously, life’s too short).
• The New Yorker – Perhaps you’ve heard of it.
• Rotten Tomatoes – In case you’re thinking of beating the heat with a movie.
