Tim Ferriss – clearly the illegitimate love child of David Allen and Hermione Grainger
– may be on to something. Without stealing too much of his thunder, he argues following your heart and your brain is the best approach in life, resulting in radical ideas – by today’s standards – such as only checking email once every 10 days. As a Crackberry and Gmail addict, I am intrigued.
Of course, if Mr. Ferriss’ attitudes about work represent those of typical millenials – and a fair bit of research suggests they do – then companies that manage to balance the work-life equation more on the life side of the scale have a lot to gain going forward. Something to think about.
Kudos to Anne for pointing out Tim’s work.
