I just learned of the passing of Alan Rimm-Kaufman. While I never met Alan face-to-face, I felt like I knew him through his works and his words. I remember reading Alan’s commentary to a Mike Moran blog post a few years back, laughing at comments like:
At day’s end, you don’t deposit percentages, you deposit dollars.
and
Hooray. Our story takes a happy turn. I’m rooting for the new guys.
Last week, I included Alan and George Michie of Rimm-Kaufman Group in my All-Star Marketing and E-commerce blogs. Reading the comments on this memorial post today, I’m realizing that Alan was an All-Star human being, too. He will be missed.
